Tavar deck finds its best placement both outside private houses and public areas. It allows you to create beautiful and functional furniture solutions also indoors, especially where there is a potential direct contact with water: spas, swimming pools, bathhouses.
Tavar supplies structurally verified materials and installation systems according to the NTC 2018 mandatory standard for the different uses. The NTC 2018 contains essential information as it defines the main principles to be followed for the design of buildings and suggests the performance that structures must achieve in terms of scope. Depending on the level of the foot traffic of the interested surface, there are different categories object of the structural examination that normally are associated to decking areas, and precisely CAT. A-C-D.
For the realisation of the deck flooring, Tavar offers two calculation tables according to the intended use: Category A-C1 is the most frequent for residential and commercial use (restaurant/bar).
For this category, as can be seen from the calculation table, Tavar offers only planks with side millings and wooden batterns to be installed at 600mm centers distance each. It is necessary to use the “Tavar structural supporting clips” at the mid-point between the support batterns in order to connect the various elements. The Category C – D is recommended for commercial use, taking into account that there are used wooden batterns at mm 300 centers distance.
There is the possibility to use both planks with side milling and items without joints, for laying with exposed screws.
The correct category according to the intended use has to be recommended by the Project Manager.
Tavar has selected the most suitable wood species for outdoor use. The raw materials for the deck collection are imported from the countries of origin and then totally processed at our factory.
