The modern furnishings of a small carpenter’s shop in the center of Parma started entering the heart of Italian homes. In 1963 Renzo Fornari takes the lead and transforms the business into a company that produces elegant and technologically advanced kitchens, thus cultivating his passion for arts and design.

This gives life to SCIC, which stands for Super Cucine Italiane Componibili (Super Italian Fitted Kitchens) and comes from the French word ‘chic’, yet with a new universal use. Franco Maria Ricci, a rookie graphic designer at the time, interpreted the concept of modularity with six ‘lined up’ equilateral triangles that formed a hexagon, which is also the geometric representation of a flower.

That very symbol became SCIC’s logo, and it is still used today.

Ristogolf association was born from the desire to spread the game of golf among hoteliers and operators in the food & beverage sector, creating opportunities for meeting, friendship and fun.
Together with SCIC kitchens, Tavar will participate in all Ristogolf events, creating a custom project for the occasion: wood platform and shading structure in thermo-treated ash.
