The birth of a new partnership

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]La Fratelli Boffi is a company that has two strong souls: the first is dedicated to research and follows all possible paths; the second, on the other hand, expresses itself with authority in the world of collective spaces and in the contract in general, with projects including turnkey projects, building on the experience gained in the collections that it has developed over the years and which form the backbone of the catalogue.

The story begins in 1928 with Carlo Boffi who, as an artisan, gained the fame of one of the best chair carvers, capable of re-proposing the typical French style of the Louis XV – Louis XVI period.

In 1953 his sons Federico, Roberto and Michele began to work and in 1968 the new plant in Lentate was built. From an integrated factory, inside which he develops the processing of solid wood, panels, padding up to lacquering, then comes the time of technology and new machinery is inserted in each department. At the same time comes the decision to leave the small world of Brianza and open up to the world with the curiosity of those who know how to do, but also of those who want to explore and impose new things and then merge them in their own company: this is how internationalization and collaborations with the large American department stores.

In the 1980s, the first encounters with the world of avant-garde design began and the collaboration with Aldo Cibic, from which the “Antologia” collection was born, which has grown over the years and is so distinctive that the name “Antologia” is almost inseparable from the company brand . At the same time there was a meeting with Giorgio Pulici, image consultant for important companies in the fashion field, who initially turned to Fratelli Boffi for creations based on the design of particular displayers, sets linked to stands and fashion shows and exhibition spaces in type. The relationship has gradually consolidated and the collaborations intensified, forming many of the collections that Fratelli Boffi has developed over the years.

Since the 2000s, the company has intensified its collaborations with designers from all over the world, presenting new and eclectic products year after year in the setting of suggestive and fascinating stands: starting with Nigel Coates, Ferruccio Laviani, passing through Philippe Bestenheider, Martino Berghinz, Giopato & Coombes, Marc Krusin, Christophe de la Fontaine, up to the collections of recent years designed by Archer Humphryes Architects and Analogia Project.
This need also arises from the fact that the contract division of Fratelli Boffi collaborates in parallel with international designer names in the development and creation of large projects such as hotels, private homes, villas, residences or offices all over the world. While maintaining its own personal style and not falling short of its quality standards, the company is now renowned worldwide for its great ability to combine quality, ease in solving problems and professionalism to meet the demands of the so-called “tailor made”: Unique capabilities that allow you to develop a complete project. A culture of the project rather than of the product that comes from historical experience and which does not renounce Italian craftsmanship, but rather makes it the flagship of Fratelli Boffi.

To date, the company has a long series of references that include the development and creation of large projects such as hotels, private homes, villas, residences or offices around the world.
