Antimicrobial / Antibacterial varnishes
TAVAR’s antimicrobial and antibacterial varnishes stop the proliferation of germs: the finishing coat becomes a sanitizing barrier. Special silver ions protect the surfaces treated with our varnishes from microbes and thus make the surfaces perfectly suited for environments with high hygiene requirements such as dental practices, restaurants, bakeries, swimming pools, saunas, nurseries and children’s rooms and bedrooms in general, bathrooms, dressing rooms, wardrobe cabins, etc.
Certification “Made in Italy”
This certification guarantees the quality of our products and their Italian origin. The certification is issued by ITPI (Institute for the Protection of Italian Manufacturers) after specific examination on the origin and the correct processing of the product.
Three layers: higher stability
Tavar’s “top collections” have a solid wood counterbalance layer made of Oak or Spruce. The cross-grain structure of the various support layers allows for high stability also on unlevelled subfloors.
Ideal for underfloor/screed heatings
All our floors can be installed on screed heating systems without compromising any of the wooden floor’s characteristics.
High-resistance coating
The heavy trampling on wooden floors, together with the floor’s daily cleaning and disinfection, require specially designed wood protection coatings: being tested in certified laboratories: Tavar’s finishes guarantee the highest level of resistance towear and scratch as well as protection from cleaning agents used for routine maintenance.
“TavarBlock” interlocking system
The TavarBlock interlocking system makes the installation of our floors extraordinarily simple and fast. For customers who are particularly sensitive to environmental issues and desire a floating floor, the TavarBlock interlocking technology guarantees maximum stability without the use of adhesives, except for the butt joints.
